Terms of Sale
In effect from:
General
These terms govern the purchase of goods from SIA "Taču būda"'s online shop Grābeklis. By placing an order you agree to these terms. The effective date of the current version is shown at the top of the document.
Buyer eligibility
Orders may be placed by natural persons aged 18 or over and by legal persons.
Trader identification
SIA "Taču būda", registration no. 40103692102, registered address: "Taču būda", Gaujas Ciems, Carnikava, Ādažu Novads, LV-2163. Phone: +371 22 066 280. Email: info@grabeklis.lv.
Orders and payment
Goods are sold in EUR. We accept payment by card via Stripe (a secure PCI-DSS-certified provider). The purchase contract is concluded upon successful payment confirmation.
Reserve and collect — deposit
When you choose “Reserve and collect”, you pay a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the item price online so that we set the item aside for you. The remaining 85% is paid in store when you collect the item.
The deposit is non-refundable: if the reservation is cancelled or the item is not collected within the stated window, the deposit is not returned and the item is returned to sale.
Because the item is collected and the balance paid in person at the store, in-store purchase rules apply to this transaction — the 14-day distance-contract right of withdrawal does not apply to an item collected in store.
Right of withdrawal
A consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving any reason (Latvian Consumer Protection Law Art. 12 and EU Directive 2011/83 Art. 9).
To exercise the right of withdrawal, send the completed withdrawal form (see next section) to info@grabeklis.lv or by post to the registered address. A withdrawal notice may also be submitted in free form.
In the case of withdrawal, the cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer. This is the statutory arrangement, of which we inform you in accordance with the requirements of EU Directive 2011/83 Art. 6(1)(i).
The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Given the second-hand nature of the goods, we assess diminished value by reference to market comparison (Directive 2011/83 Art. 14(2)).
